Bella Organics© is a concept skincare line whose brand intention at the core is focused on synergy with nature and healing skin naturally through self-care.
With products that are 100% organic and created from wild harvested ingredients, it was important to keep the package design and branding natural and simple — achieving a high level of sophistication.
Channeling inspiration from plants and flowers, the colors of pinks and greens reflect a connection and sense of place to the natural world to help transport you to somewhere peaceful. The zen-like look is kept bright and neat through the white accents communicating skincare is a necessary self-care step that should be thoughtfully approached daily.
Silver gray photos are a mirror to the soul helping us to see ourselves as others see us — the beauty from within.
Meaning behind the logo.
Bella was a little girl who suffered from excruciating eczema for years due to childhood emotional trauma and food allergies. Although prescribed steroid creams left her skin slightly better, they carried the danger of significant toxicities. The naming convention of Bella Organics was inspired by this little girl’s journey towards emotional and physical healing.
The bell-shaped flower icon symbolizes connection with nature, happiness, and good positive vibes. As a symbol of hopes, ideas and dreams, it signifies blossoming from within by releasing emotional blocks and the wholeness of caring for oneself.
Stylish script typography evokes an elegant yet functional brand while the contemporary sans serif font enriches a down-to-earth approach.
Healing with color.
Colors communicate — so choosing the right colors for Bella Organics was important in how customers feel when they interacted with the brand and used the products.
Silver Gray is feminine in nature and gives a calming cool effect and at the same time gives us permission to escape the realities of the world for a while.
Green is one of the most restful colors. It’s no wonder we feel so amazing we when step outside and bask in the lushness of nature. Green reflects balance and harmony and in Color Therapy is at the heart of emotions — connecting heart and mind. As a natural peacemaker, green restores depleted energy and is an emotionally positive color.
Pink allows one to get to the “heart of the matter” plus a color of inner peace and unconditional love. Although it’s considered feminine in nature, Pink is comforting and gently surrounds one with hope and positivity.
White, the ultimate color of purity and truth, is a peacefully positive color that encourages feelings of creating new beginnings and helps clear mental clutter.
Planet over profit.
With a sensitive consumer in mind, Bella Organics© proudly stands by their products being cruelty-free and never ever tested on animals — along with a focus on the development of vegan, certified organic, GMO free, and gluten free for those with skin allergies.
All the designs reflect the branded core company mission of “Love yourself. Love the planet.”
With a mindset of caring for yourself is caring for our planet, the main product packaging was sourced from biodegradable plastic and the green glass bottles contain about 70% recycled material.
